WTO, Doha Round - Antidumping Rules & Zeroing

WTO Members Review Revised Rules Text; U.S. Insists on Zeroing Provision.  WTO members reacted to the Doha Round text on antidumping rules.The United States wants the final agreement on antidumping text to include provisions on "zeroing."

Zeroing refers to the practice in which the export and the home market prices of an allegedly dumped good are compared.  The results of those comparisons are aggregated to calculate a dumping margin for the product as a whole. Read more in BNA's International Trade Reporter.
